Steep? No, that's cheap. It's a pickup, they make megabucks. We paid £1200 for a rusty project pickup with no engine or front end (but with all the panels to fit) and we thought we got a bargain. My son's plan is to put a Vtec in it. www.16vminiclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28332

Buy-it-now was £12k. That price has disappeared now.
And it's not really a pickup. Vans and estates that have been converted do not seem to fetch the same money.
Interesting project that your son has on there Chris.

I was being sarcastic. It is quite a low ball price.

Interesting project that your son has on there Chris. Ah, I thought it might be something like that. In which case, yes, it's too high. A well-sorted pickup can be had for 6k. Adam's pickup is a moderately solid base (I've seen worse!) and we didn't have to go too far to fetch it - though it was snowing at the time! As he now lives next door, I'm technical advisor, tool supplier (at least I know where to fetch them back from!) and partial funder It's in a better state than the estate I'm working on right now! clubmanestateregister.yuku.com/topic/7085/My-Holly-s-72-CE-Now-Known-as-Stitch

I thought, by the time Clubbies came out, the front brakes were disk. Isn't that a drum I see in Adam's pictures? BTW- When I first posted, the bid was only 99BPS! Now the bid is outrageous.

No, discs didn't come in until the mid 80s, except on GTs. Adam's pickup is an 81, while the estate is a 72. I just picked up a 79 Clubman estate today (it's very rusty) and that has drums too.

Final bid: £2,350
Nowhere near his B-I-N price, or the price that a decent genuine pickup would reach.
