Hi all. I am in the process of upgrading my `Terry two knob` AM radio to a later FM unit taken from a 90`s Cooper. My question is this: I have found an adaptor harness so that I can connect the radio without having to cut any wires, but my old loom only has a switched live (live only when the ignition is on). Am I right in thinking that I also need a permanent live to stop the station pre-sets /code needing to be re-set each time I turn off the ignition? If so what is the best/neatest way of doing this with minimal disruption to the existing wiring? Thanks Mike.

Sorry - I missed this one.....
You could run a (fused) line from one of the terminals on the fuse box. Tape or tie wrap your new 'string' to the wiring harness to keep it tidy

Thanks Emma will do, should I put an in-line fuse in this feed or will it be protected by the fuse in the box? Cheers Mike.

I would always put an inline fuse (close to the FB ) in the new feed
