Hi Rob, see these about 6 months ago, as there on an auto relisting, not a bad price for nos, even if you put in shipping costs to uk, (or are you in the states?). If youve got spare cash and looking to keep your auto, it may be worth having a spare sitting round in grease paper,lol. Fortunately we have Martin over here (Mra), and he has plenty in his auto heaven stockpile. I did consider purchasing one 6 months ago, but as mine is a hybrid of 1098 engine and 1275 box i opted for 998 t/c due to the different stall speeds. Whats parts like to get hold of on the other side of the pond?.

I just missed a 998cc engine and auto-trany lump near Kansas City. It was at a good price but I would have to rent a truck and trailer and drive nine hours one way.
For clutch discs and brake bands we have J-Pat in Bristol.
Used parts do get listed on ebay and Mini Mania from time to time. For large items I would have to negotiate freight costs with the seller as some items are two days of driving to collect in person.

I guess thats where we are spoilt in the uk, as most things i see for sale are whinin a couple hours drive.
