Hi all, I am new to Auto minis, but have three classics, all late 1999/2000 models, two manual and my latest acquisition is this unusual Gold Knightsbridge Auto mini, which is one of a kind in this trim as it is the only Knightsbridge made in Jap spec Spi Auto with air-con, as Rover never sold this to Japan, only to Europe in left hand drive MPi Manual form. It was also a Rover publicity car (one of 8) for the final edition range sold from March 2000 onwards. I'm extremely lucky to have been able to buy this car, and it will be looked after and eventually returned to its publicity car days condition, for which it is far from that at the moment. I do at least have it running now, as when I bought it I never made it home without the assistance of a recovery service as it turns out the head gasket had failed due to in part a block radiator, lack of cooling fan and general lack of use. This forum here is a wealth of info on the AP transmission, and I have a lot to learn ! Looking forward to sharing my troubles with you all as I bring this car back to its former glory over the next few years. Cheers, Andy Attachments:
