I have an acquaintance here in N. America who just purchased an Austin America automatic. It requires a transmission rebuild. Does anyone here know of someone who could do this for him?

I'll be rebuilding one once my parts and tools from Martin get here. I can let you know how it goes. I don't know any businesses in the states that will tackle one of these boxes.

Once my stuff from Martin shows up I'm going to dive into it. Might take a while if I have to order any more parts. I have a full rebuild kit and bands. The kit was missing one forward clutch as the SPI motor had 3 discs and I used a couple of seals from it.
