Just a brief intro to say Hi. I repaired the pair of 93-94 minis (with lots of help) a few years ago both are used daily. The snag now is that the auto has died (no drive forward or reverse) and now that I have removed the engine it seems like I have my work cut out to solve the issues. Hence I'm on this web forum for assistance. I will continue to look over the already posted help available but the most useful post is missing all its Photos to 3rd party internet cancer. Anyway I will post in the proper places items that I am currently troubled with and wish everyone a safe and happy drive today and everyday. regards Dave

Hi Dave. Welcome to the forum. you should find all you need on here in the way of information and help. Martin at MRA is a good source for bits along with JPAT. Main thing with any auto box is cleanliness. It does all fit dont force anything and to make life easy use the special tools (see Martin). As a tip Paint brush cleaner from DIY store in a hand sprayer is great for shifting grease and muck and its cheap. I think the most awkward bit is the re-assembly and stopping the clutch plates from dropping out of alignment as you slide it all back together. Best of luck. Paul.
