It's that time of year again for the 36th Annual British Car Day. It is held at Bronte Park, Oakville/Burlington, Ontario Canada. All past 35 events have been without rain. People and cars from all over North America and sometimes beyond will be there. You are welcome to bring your British car, truck, motorcycle, bus or even armoured vehicle. there are 57 classes. there is always over 1,000 vehicles and often as many as 1,200+. This year we will be celebrating the 60 years of the Mini, Austin Healey 3000, Daimler SP250, Sunbeam Alpine Series 1 and Triumph Herald (60 years) and Ford Capri (50 years). There will be a small air show featuring WWI biplanes and triplanes. You can bring your show car, daily driver or work in progress and any year including brand new as long as it is British. Hope to see someone there from this group. Cheers, Mark

For the first time in 36 shows it rained but it was just drizzle on and off. Due to weather, the turnout was poor, only 800-900 cars. Mini and Morgan were among the badges celebrated this year. I have never seen so many Minis in one place before! I took a few photos and will post a link as soon as I get time. I made a purchase of a new dizzy and saw a 1960 Epic Envoy Special (Canadian model) being battled over to purchase. It was mint and going for $10,500. I'll have more to post later.
