First mini project and just a bit lost

Hi All! 

My name is Kay, I have bought what was already a stripped mini project its an automatic mini rover registered 31 Dec 1990 G reg



Most likely a bit out of my depth haha but who likes it easy. 

I currently have I would say 1/8 of a wiring loom and recon will just be best to go from scratch. Can anyone help with a wiring diagram suitable for an auto? Also if you know if it is possible to convert to a floor start button. Just looking for additional steps that can double as security against those that know less than me.

Keep us up to date with your progress.
For your wiring electrical question. I'm not an expert but I think a start would be to search for a wiring diagram specific to the year of your Mini as I think there differences between the different marks.

I agree with Robert as the differences between manual and auto for a wiring harness are not too great an issue but year to year would make all the difference, as for a floor start that easy enough to do as you would need it to be in either serial (needs the key turning at the same time) or parallel (ign to on, then press the floor button to start).
