Wanted - Oil Filter Housing for Automatic Rover Mini

Hi All,

Having finally got the budget to put my Mini back on the road after 9 years, all the work is done and ready for the MOT except, that it needs a new Oil Filter Housing, and that's proving a little tricky to track down. If anybody has one they would be willing to sell (in the U.K.) I'd appreciate it if you could let me know.

Is it the long bowl type that you are after? If so this was used on many other engines, Austin/morris 6 cylinder, Aston Martin !!, Vanguard, Grey Fergie Tractor.

No, it's not the 'bowl' part itself, but the housing that it fits to.

I've not had it in hand personally. My car is with a local Mini specialist, but this part is being a bit elusive. To the best of my knowledge that particular part is specific to the Automatic A-series.

I think we still need to know if it is the fat or long bowl. I might have the housing for a fat one if my location in Canada is no issue.
