Hiya when you open up flickr click on the small thumbnail picture you want to use,it will then open up a larger picture Go to the address bar and highlight the whole address there then right click and select copy from the list then when you open to post message page here you will see a little picture frame icon just between the globe and email envelope icons chick that and you will get two set of brackets appear one with "img" the other with "/img" in it Next click between the two ie where the closing bracket for img is but before the opening bracket for /img is Then right click and select paste and your image address will appear between the brackets When you post your message the image should appear This one below is on Flickr so ill give it a go lets see No it didnt work Anybody else have any other ideas? Ive never come accross this before

Hiya you seem to be asking the same question that a lot of people are asking on Flickr. I have just joined and tried everything possible but nothing has worked. I think it's just a gallery that you can link to and looking on their forum some of them have gone to Photobucket which is what I suggest you do unless somebody knows otherwise.

I used photobucket which much easier as it already had the image brackets in the photo address. Try this.

Hi,
Hope I'm not repeating the same points as raised historically.
I would like to upload some pictures of my Mini Mayfair. I googled the 'photo bucket' site and went to all the trouble of registering and so forth, only to find at the final stage that this service costs. I'm really not wanting to enter into a paying service, although I did find a section that said 'free' - but I'm not keen to use it.
Is it not possible just to upload pictures directly onto the auto-Mini-Register as it seems complicated having to use another service?
Cheers, Roger.

Hiya Roger People have been using the "free" photobucket for ages and my partner who has his own forum have hundreds of pics on there and has never had a problem. As regards to uploading straight on to the site, this is something that we are looking at as the forum grows but for the time being we recommend photobucket or flickr.
Hope this helps.

Hi Lea, Thanks for your quick reply and your pm. I will have another go with Photobucket - failing that I'll wait for the direct upload.
Regards,
Roger.

Has the forum been updated yet for directly inserting photos from your computer? My Flickr is full and I don't want to remove any shots right now!

Flickr users: Go to the picture you wish to post. Right click it and go to the properties tab. Select the URL by left clicking and dragging your mouse over it. i.e. farm6.staticflickr.com/5176/5547984413_1960b6d57d_m.jpgRelease the button and press Ctrl C. (copy) Go to your post on this forum. Write your post, click on the picture frame. Click between the img & slant img in your message. Press Ctrl V. (paste) You have placed the URL of the picture on your post. To be sure you did it right, click on the Preview button. Caution: You may have an issue when you right click the picture. It may say Copywrite. If so, try one of the different sized views.
