Hello people I've looking there the threads and can't really see anything that will ask my question. Can anyone tell me do minis suffer from any major electrical problems or problems with damp? and if so how you have cured it?

Like any ageing car there will be electrical problems. Water / moisture can get to electrical terminals causing some oxidation / corrosion leading to poor electrical connections. Keep all contacts clean and you will rarely have problems.

There are a few known electrical problems that can affect Minis, largely due to old-fashioned design. The fuse boxes tend to get damp and corrode; a modern blade fusebox is a simple replacement.
There are some bullet connectors in the lighting circuit under the bonnet slam panel which can also give poor connections due to their exposed position.
The engine electrics in the form of the distributor cap are also quite exposed and are prone to getting wet, which can cause misfiring on wet days. There was a cover fitted to most cars, but many have got lost over the years. I cover my dizzy cap with an old inner tube and a tie-wrap, but many use the simple fix of an old Marigold glove with the fingertips cut off. Not pretty but it works!

Apart from the above, which seems to have covered most things the only thing I would add is the earth lead from the battery to the body, it's always worth checking this, making sure its clean and secure. I had a problem with this resulting in me having to resolder a new lug to the cable which was causing me intermittent problems.
