It looks really good from what you can see but the description doesn't say very much. With that mileage it's clearly been off the road for a while which may or may not be a good thing. Looks like it's been MOT'ed and taxed in July just to sell. And, as the price has been reduced, the seller is struggling to find a buyer.
Low miles is no guarantee of good mechanical condition. When I was at MRA today Martin showed me a mini of similar age with just 20k miles on the clock that needs some serious attention to the auto box.
Still, this one could make a really good buy, needs a careful examination before bidding the kind of money they're after though.

Sounds like quite a good car for the money. I don't know anything about auto boxes so really can't comment.

I do agree there is a certain allure to really Original cars but Low Mileages dont always guarentee everything is Hunky Dorey When we got Boris he had about 40k on him and hadnt been used for around a year When we started using him again virtually everything failed,Brakeing System,Charging System,Tyres fell apart,Gearbox Failed When we sold him everything Major had been done but with hindsight i personally would get a Low Mileage car again I know i posted the link mainy bevause it looks genuine but you are right hopefully the body/structure will be great on that Mini but if its been used soo little i think itll need a full service and then regular use Im out of the Mini Scene now im looking for a Classic Mercedes Benz and ive Been advised to get one with 100k on the clock as that will be nicely run in Huggz Jodie

Even if the engine & box and even body need attention, with a low mileage little else is worn and the car feels nice and "tight". Also unlikely to have been mucked about with.
Nemo came to us with 16k on the clock, and you can still tell even 8k later. Just nice to drive.
Which classic Merc you after Jodie? I had a couple of W124 estates (E-class) which were nice, but for choice I'd go for a W123 if I were going back to Mercs.

Im actually after a W123 A 230 saloon, not really into estates and my new daily thats on order is a 3 door coupe OK its not a Benz but don't really want two coupes My other half thinks the E Class ie W123/124 are too big for me as I'm only a shorta** ;D With that in mind ive also been looking at W201(190e c class) They say the W124 was the best Benz ever though i find the W123 more interesting and likable I did consider the old stack light W115 but they are just getting too old now I think I'm more likely to get a 190e as they are mega cheap right now and use it for a bit but maybe look around for a 230e W123? Who knows i might end up liking the 190e and not want the bigger W123? I think the W201 and W124 look virtually identical except the W201/190e looks like a well groomed youngster in a sharp suit whereas the w124 looks a little boring by comparison The W123 is definitely the best looking E Class out of the between W123 and W124 And apart from that i certainly wouldn't touch any Benz past the W124 with a bargepole Mercedes still make cracking engine but their quality is now akin to a dodgy old MFI Sideboard Even the W202 that replaced the 201 ain't much cop, without any Shadow of a doubt the last real Mercedes Benz models made were the W123/124 E Class W201 C Class W126 S Class and W107 SL Class After that well Mercedes were never the same again Jodie
