Oil filter housing gasket to engine block

Hi Guy's

I am new here and been recommended to come here, I am the new owner of a 1987 Austin Mini Mayfair.

I am looking to find the gasket between the engine block and the oil filter housing, I am finding this near impossible to find anywere does anyone have any ideas were i can get one from without buying a hole bottom end kit. ???

I had the same problem and ended up buying the whole kit.

Hi and welcome to AMR.

Have you tried MRA Minis (www.mra-minis.co.uk)? Always a good place to try for auto specific stuff. You really need to call or email as not all of their stock is listed on the web site.

If you have the old one or can measure/trace accurately you might be able to make one yourself using gasket paper.

Shoutforjoy comes to the rescue . MRA- minis stock them them £1.68 inc vat.
