I wonder if it's possible to move the fusebox from it's current under bonnet location, to inside the car - as per the post 1996 twin point Mini? The under bonnet position seems a vulnerable and hostile location for the fuse box - leaving it open to rusting and extremes of temperature. I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on this? Many thanks. Roger.

Hi, Yes having the fuse box inside the car does have advantages, but you will have to extend some of the wiring and all that splicing and the possible inclusion of faults tends to balance out the pluses, I assume your car has glass fuses, what about changing the fuse box for a blade type? I have done this on all my classic motorcycles to improve reliablity compared with old type fuses and no significant wiring changes. Jock

Hi Jock, Thanks for this. Not sure what type of fuses I have. I'll check it out this weekend. Thanks again. Roger.
