Hi All
I'm Benoît from Brest, France (far west).
I'm the happy owner of a black automatic Rover Mayfair, 1.3 carb.
The car is a little bit dismounted right now (gearbox problem), but I'll soon post a photo.

Hi Benoit, Welcome to the AMR forums. I am sure you will find lots of useful info on here to help you along with your gearbox problem. They are quite prone to getting sludged up from old oil and or lack of use so be sure the search through the tech sections on here for lots of useful help and tips. It's well worth trying 2 or 3 oil changes to flush the auto box through before doing anything more drastic. Also they are quite fussy on oil so check the oil and transmission sections out on here for more info. Hope you get it sorted, let us know how you get on.
