I have a 1970 Morris Nomad 1300, now I have copped quite a bit of flack over this as these are getting rare but its going to donate its 1275 4 speed auto for my 1977 Leyland Mini Van ( solid-side ). This car also has a bit of history as I was involved in a jack-knife accident at 80kph towing it home, I failed to make a bend and the Morris broke two 900kg ratchet straps and flew off , landed on all four wheels and rolled at speed up the road on the wrong side, I was lucky that I or anybody else was'nt killed ( I did get concussion ). The Morris Nomad 1300 was made in Australia from 1969 to 1972, it was a five door hatchback and all the seats fold flat to form a bed , only a few thousand were made . The motor runs well and changes gears, it runs a little hot as it desperately needs a service, as I said I,m going to commit sacrilege and remove the motor ( boo , hiss from the gallery ) but where else am I going to find a 1275 auto in good working condition. Yes it is a slightly rare piece of Australian BLMC history in good condition but I,m sure I can find a loving owner who can refit a replacement auto and get it back on the road, so if your in Australia and your keen $500neg and its your's . .

Might I suggest you find someone with an automatic 1275 that can display it in good order or to have yours fixed. I'm only saying this because the car is worth more if it has it's original motor. Plus, in some places, it can be harder to register with a different motor. That car would be so rare and such a head turner here. At $500AU, I would love to purchase it :)even though it would kill me to ship to Ontario, Canada. ::)Trouble is, my wife would disown me for trying to buy from the land of Aus. ;D Now, if it were her most favourite place, :-*the land of OZ, I wouldn't have any troubles. ;D ;D ;D
