I apologise for not visiting the site for some time. Some of you may remember The greenie, that I was working on. This originally had a 1275 engine in it. This was removed for mods to be made. It ended up a1380 with a BMW K1100 motorbike cylinder head. This was a twin cam 16v with four throttles and injectors. Power was around 120 BHP. Late last year I decided that it was time for an engine swap. I took the old 1275 out of the clubby I'd bought and sent it, along with the Greenie for mods. The 1275 engine was bored to 1310 and fitted with another K1100 head. The 1380 will end up in the clubby. The new, 1310, was supercharged. After building it was put on the dyno and run up to 6,500 RPM. The power curve is below.

Brake servo had to go and washer bottle is now in the boot. The bonnet is a little too close to the engine too and the bonnet stay can't fit in it's clip as it fouls the supercharger oilo reservoir.. I've got a fibreglass KAD type bonnet. I'm just waiting for the weather to warm a bit so I can spray it.

The mini arrived home at the end of january and had sat on the trailer until the beginning of August. I've not been too good this year and just never touched it. I have sold the trailer and decided it was time to get it ready for the MOT, which was a saga in itself. The new bonnet is on and it has passed its MOT last Monday. It took it out yesterday for its "shake down run". No problems at at all. Pulls well and has a gorgeous "whistle" from the charger. I thought water temp may be a problem but the aluminium racing rad sorted that. Running a tad rich I think I'll have to replace the preset fuel pressure regulator for an adjustable one. It should be on the "Missiles" stand at Uttoxeter.
