Vespa PX front, mini sub frame at the rear. I have a complete 998cc auto engine and box. it also came with a bare engine and autobox minus head too. Bare engine has brand new pistons and I ve told its be rebuilt

It looks like you are off to a good start.
Is that the engine and box there in the photo next to the front wheel of your trike?
The front of the gearbox looks familiar anyway.
I wonder if you could move the original rear wheel cover/flares from below the seat to a position over the new rear wheels.
Thanks for sharing.

I think I would've removed more Vespa in the rear, say up to the centre of the seat and shortened everything up sort of like Robertm suggested. I was curious. Are those stacked up wheels from an Austin? They look like my 12" jobs.

I think the engine in the photo is a 2000cc pinto.i m using a mini auto and going to leave it this length, as the back end is "bolt on" and can be returned to a scooter, which makes it a lot easier to register, I m hoping to make it into a3 or 4 seater and there isn't much room in the "engine bay" when the engine is in, and I need somewhere to put the battery, fuse box etc. etc.. I m planning on using another pair of panels as wheel arches. the wheels are 10" wolf race mags I think Attachments:

Sorry Greg. I wasn't referring to the wheels on your trike. I meant the stack of wheels behind it. They're steel.
