Help please.
Ok so in the midst's of rebuilding my transmission all going well so far........However how the hell do you get the Reverse Clutch Shut off piston circlip out? any clean suggestions welcome.

Hi Paul, yep that is a real pig, if your refering to the (c) clip on the forward clutch reverse gear shut off piston. I used 2x really small flat head screwdrivers almost jeweller sized head. Use one to stop the clip spinning and the other to work on the other end. The first one took me 15 minutes, I can now do it a couple.dig your into the groove and try to lever the ring inwards. Good luck.

Thanks for the info I will give that a go. All they had to do was to cut the ends at 45deg facing outwards!

Yeah, I even considered grinding an angled point for future removal,but forgot. Another tip; have in a vice or workbench as you will have both hands full. Let me know how long it takes you,lol.
