My 850's in for MOT next week. She's almost complete except for a few paint touch ups and small jobs. Wish us luck

I had to make mine pass US emissions last year. That was fun. Had to put a cat on and lean it way out. Ran like poo. Now it has a rc40 twin box and no cat. Emissions exempt due to age now. No more inspections of any kind. At least in New Mexico.

Makes me laugh. All those V8 gas guzzlers rolling around and planes all over the sky and you have to do all that to get your little Mini to pass emissions

In Canada, we have to do emissions based on both gases and computer warning codes. Any vehicle manufactured before 1987 is exempt, like my Mortimer. My biggest complaint is the license sticker for $128. Try that on when you have 4 cars. Two come due in Jan. and two in July. Only one my AA is exempt so there's another $100+ each year.
Sweet looking wee car there Stu.

Thanks. When we get some decent dry weather over here I'll post up some photos of the rest of it. I'm itching to get her out on a good drive but wont take her out in the wet.
