Since installing extractors and a new.inlet manifold ive forgotten how the kickdown lever is routed . Please help with some photos if you have them I might need to bend it ...

You,ve got it resting on the choke butterfly ,it needs to connect to the throttle butterfly (nearer to engine).

Simon, did you get this kickdown sorted out? In the lower photo the kickdown rod goes where the spring is hooked and the spring has its own tab on the same spot. To the right of the same end of the spring you see a long black metal piece with a hole in it. This is where the other end of the spring goes. Looks like you need to twist the kickdown rod 180 degrees in order to fit right. Also, that manifold looks like it is for twin carbs not that it likely matters unless the top hose fitting is a problem.
