I've got my mini on the road in the last few weeks and have had various issues I've worked through. However I've got one big issue I can't resolve. It's painfully slow and drinks fuel like you would not believe and makes my Land Rover seem frugal. It makes a buzzing sound on acceleration but quietens down on a cruise. I put a colortune set on it and the flame is a lightish blue. I get a whiff of fuel now and again but can't see any leaks. When I got it the dizzy had nothing in it. It's got brand new ignition parts from the coil to the plugs I've set the gaps up and it idles lovely and quiet. Are they all this thirsty? If so,it's got to go. I can't believe they use this much fuel. £10 for about 13 miles a day.
