Good evening, everybody. I just registered here, I am the proud owner of a Mini Cooper 35th Anniversary Automatic with aircondition from 1996, the car was delivered to Japan when new and came to Germany three years ago, when the first owner moved from Tokio to Hamburg. I bought the car from this charming lady with around 69.000 km on the clock, it is completely rust-free and has the wonderful color combination of Almond Green with Diamond White roof and Porcelain Green leather interior. I had changed several things in the interior as well as on the exterior, at the moment the car gets an overhaul of the front suspension and the bumpers as well as the dashboard will be changed. My workshop also changed the oil to the Jaso-specification which is recommended in this forum, the gearbox changes gears quite smoothly sometimes and not so smoothly sometimes. Since a few days it doesn’t like to change from third to forth without lifting the driving pedal, I have the impression. But I am sure it will improve by the use of the correct oil as well as by some fine tuning from the workshop. If you have some ideas to get the gearbox changing more soft, I will be thankful! I am looking forward to interesting discussions here as well as technical advise concerning this wonderful British car, best regards, Hugo Attachments:
