Congrats I have a 68 minimatic too, sorry to hear about your oil pressure, My Leyland manual states that the oil pressure should be 40-60 psi at road speed, mine sits on 48 psi when fully warmed up and at 30 psi in neutral at idle, it does drop to 10 psi when R is selected. when I first put a gauge on the oil pressure was 30- 45 and a little erratic, I replaced the engine oil pressure relief valve and spring from my spare engine and things improved I added a couple of washers behind the spring and got the pressure up to the above figures, the original valve plunger had been messed with even had a hacksaw cut on it! I can be contacted on martin@kmprecisionengineering.com The best way is to add an oil pressure gauge to the transmission take of port on the filter head.
