Hiya Love the collection they all look in great condition. Just wondering which do you prefer the clubby estate or the mayfair?

the estate of course, i even put some of the things from the mayfair into the estate(rocker cover, matts little things like that). So when i drive the estate i have alittle of both. too bad the guy who bought the mayfair destroyed her. he ran her into a ditch then left her parked for months so her mambas are flat, paint looks bad, panels need replacing, even the 998 it broke now poor car. i even thought about buying her back but honistly would cost so much to fix what he has done.

Great photos. Are you planning to upgrade any other bits (brakes perhaps) to go with the new higher power engine? Paul

Nice looking motor. Are you fitting the Honda drive shafts or Honda/mini hybrids?

hubby already has a vtec mini so we upgraded to metro brake setup and it's great. Ya mini breaks didn't last too long at all the rotors warped and went threw pads pretty quick so metro seems to be taking the beating better. We used the hybrid setup there's a guy on 16v forum we sent him both Honda and mini and he joined them together. Hubby's been driving his for almost a year and no issues so we'll go threw him to make mine. matter of fact we just had a MOT on hubby's today and the guy said the car's great and well done. A funny thing i must mention we have never had any of our mini's do well on emissions (was at .6 up to 4.5 aloud) till today, we both laughed when the MOT guy said how low it was just from experience we normally must tweak a few things for our other motors to pass, of course having a mini friendly guy helps too.

That B18 looks a really neat job. Did he have to cut any of the inner wings away? I'm going to be fitting the Vauxhall 2.0L SRI 130 in to my clubby.

yes both inner wings had to be cut and he had to modify the bulk head as well, so far we are thinking mine won't be so dramatic due to my engine just looking smaller in size when we get the engine and frame loaded in we'll know for sure. All those loving test fittings.
