Hiya folks. Got a quick question for you all about the wipers on a mini. My wiper blade has split on the passenger and needs replacing so can I just replace the rubber or do I have to buy the whole wiper assembly which is chrome and I have done that the last couple of times which is getting expensive.
Any help would be great also if you could point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance.
Lea

Hi Lea, If you can find the right size rubber then just change that. We often do this at work. It's a bit fiddly but alot cheaper. Any good motor factor should be able to help. Mark

I'd try liviens(?) at horsehay. They're pretty good even for older mini parts. The other place is Priorslee Motor Spares. Both of these supply the trade and are very good. I've used both at work. Let me Know how you get on. Mark

I have just tried emailing Liviens and their email address don't exist and their website has nothing on it, this might sound like a stupid question but are they still in business?

Hi all, I have a question which is related to wipers generally. When parked the wipers on my Mini now sit quite low on the windscreen, in fact they are now in contact with the windscreen surround which is causing a dent in the rubber surround - does anyone know how to re-set the wiper position so that they park a little higher on the windscreen? Thanks.

Hi Lea, Liviens do still exist, I normally just pop in. I didn't even know they had a website. They're very friendly and helpful, We often get bits from them for my 1960 landrover and the wifes 1968 moke. Mark
