I have a Single Point Injection 1275 Mini AUTOMATIC Engine for sale if anyone is looking to buy one. It has 26,000 Miles from new which I can prove with original MOT's ect. Comes with the Original Gear Remote selector plus plastic housing. Would suit a show car or similar!!! Its in as new condition and runs perfect! All gears select as normal and pulls very well. Its been regularly serviced. I'm in two minds whether to sell it but I don't have a space in my garage for another mini I also have the original Front Auto Sub frame for sale complete with the original drive shafts and breaks ready to fit. This is a rare opportunity to buy a very low mileage Rover Mini Auto Engine with 26,000 miles Complete and ready to fit. Would suit a show car! I'm looking to sell the Engine for £1000 ono which I think is very reasonable! Front Sub frame which is in rust free clean condition £350. £1350 Will do the lot for £1300 Cash! Item Location: Derbyshire. Collection welcome or Delivery. Can be delivered on a pallet anywhere in the UK! Overseas are welcome to arrange the own courier. I will put it in a boxed crate! Any questions please ask and I will reply asap. Thanks Mark

hmm £1000 seems a lot considering I have to take your word thats its a good engine. I maintain its only done 26000 miles but to be honest for that sort of money i'd want to know more about both. I seem to recall for £1800 you could buy a brand new engine and gearbox from mini spares recently. which with the other parts you are selling is only an extra £300.
I'd also like to you know why you think your subframe is worth £350 when I can buy a brand new one for £295? Also a pair of driveshafts are £210 for the pair at mini spares (maybe even cheaper if you shop around) so i'm not so sure about used ones for £150 Maybe I am missing something here but to my mind this seems ambitious to aim for these prices. I hope you do get a good/ fair price for the combo.

Im with Sam and bigsniper on this the prices do seem very high too me :-( . But all the best if you find someone to pay this amount. Are you offering any warranty etc with the engine? this is the sort of price you would expect to pay a garage to supply and fit with a warranty !!!

Hi Mark we are a friendly bunch here and help one another along as much as we can Were always pleased to welcome new members but can i please ask you to refrain from posting in the above manner In internet terms posting in bold type could be seen as shouting As one of the staff here i would have to agree with the other replies and i personally don't think a second hand standard Auto engine is worth £1000 Yes you can get a fully built up sub frame for £1,343.26 but you are selling a second had sub frame only according to what you have said not a fully built up one. Theres currently a 1275 auto engine on ebay bidding at the moment is £80 ok it will need overhauling but it could be overhauled to as new standard for the price your asking. It is also customary to introduce yourself when joining a forum and not to spam others thread selling things when you haven't even introduced yourself. It appears you have joined with just one thing in mind and thats to sell your running gear? If the engine is soo good why have you removed a perfectly good running gear? If you wanted a Manual it would of been far easier to buy a manual. Im not for one moment suggesting you would sell anything that was faulty but with how fragile Auto units can be its far better to have your own unit rebuilt than buy another that despite a low mileage could go at any time despite its appearance When the Gearbox went on our Mini we were Offered an Auto Metro for just £350 for the whole car with a documented 24000 but declined as we didn't want to have to do the job twice If you want to join in with the register because your passionate about Mini Autos we welcome you I wish you all the luck selling your Unit for what your asking but very much doubt anybody here will pay anything like that for it . You could try selling it on Ebay which will show how much people are willing to pay for such a Unit

Hmmm, that does seem a little rich for me.
I don't honestly think i've ever seen an auto engine fetch even close to that on fleabay.
I'm also interested how you will honour your guarantee on the engine, are you trade?

Hi. First of all I am new to these forums. This being my very first one and by the looks of it my last but please accept my apologies if I've offended anyone. Secondly: No I didn't join this forum just to sell my auto engine. I have had 4 Automatic Minis since passing my test and have a genuine interest in Auto Minis. I can also contribute a lot to this forum. I saw the Forum advertised in the latest mini magazine and as I'm currently converting my car to a Manual box I thought this would be a great opportunity and the best place rather than Ebay for someone to buy a genuine low mileage auto SPi engine. Thirdly: The Bold Highlight response to the above comments. I assumed as I posted the thread that people would see that I (spritebug101) would be highlighted and would know that I was responding to the other messages. In no way did I respond in an aggressive manner. My apologies (spritebug101)

Thank you Mark for clearing that up. It's a real shame that you have to convert unfortunately there are a few people who do this which makes the auto very scarce however different people convert for different reasons. Just like to wish you all the best with it and look forward to your contributions round the forum and maybe a project thread on your conversion.

Just sold an '89 A+ auto for $600CAD or £300 with ALL ancillaries including oil cooler. Part of a UK shipment I got which included 2 standards (with all ancilaries and shift rods as well) for a total "Delivered to door" cost of $1800CAD or about £900. Still, I'd also like to welcome you for the sake of Automatic love. Mark (but from Ontario, Canada)
