Here are the prices paid for my fleet ... Min - FREE (18th Birthday present, it was my parents car but they gave it to me. I think my dad paid about £400 for her when he bought her which was a couple of years before she was given to me) Merri - £500 Minki - FREE (given to me by my brother after he run her into the ground and was going to scrap her) Maggi - £2,500 (the most expensive of mine to buy, cost more than she was worth really but i really really wanted her. She was the only one that was roadworthy straight away and was not a project) Mandi - £500 (although technically it was a 30th birthday present so i didn't pay that Michael did ). Obviously those are just original purchase prices, i have spent a LOT on them all since then and would dread to add up how much i have spent .

the first time i bought Dennis i paid £200 for him then i spent over £800 on him in panels, welding etc just when i was getting somewhere with him my financial situation took a turn for the worse when nice mr tax man hit me with a horrendous tax bill. i had to sell Dennis, my beloved motorbike and my little auto mini saloon i then went to the mini show at stanford hall where i bumped into Liz from the cer, we were chatting away and she said the guy that bought Dennis off me had to get rid of him and stuck him on ebay, a chap from enderby near leicester bought it and he spent a fair amount on him too and Liz said he was up for sale again. well i just had to have him back and Matt who i bought him back off said it was as though i was meant to have him back so for £850 he's mine again only prob now is after i got him back i lost my job so although i have plenty of time to work on him funds are short so i'm doing bits as and when, it's not looking good for having him back on the road by spring oh well i'll get there eventually and i still have quite a few saloon parts for sale all money will go into the Dennis fund, there's basically everything off a 1987 mayfair bar the shell

$7000. US dollars. Half that, so they say, was to import the little bugger. So $3500 would seem decent enough. I too have put that much more in and more to come.

i paided 500 gbp for mine, i havn't came up with a name for mine yet, still working that one out but when i got her, the exchange was down around 1gbp to 1.3 us dollars, so i got it at the right time, but over the last summer, i know i have put more then 600gbp into her and thats not counting the welding i did myself or the rest of the labor, but about 90% of the parts i have put into her wasn't needed to get her on the road, it was just to rebuild her right, so i wouldn't have to replace the parts down the road work on the car for 6months to daily drive her for 2months and for the pot joint bushings to go out in the diff

"The Greenie" cost me £500 as a non running rust bucket. It cost £300 to get it back home. The rest I really don't want to think about. The engines going away to be modded on the 17th and I'm not going to say how much that's costing

My '69 AA, Mortimer, cost me$1500US in 2004 and only another $250CAD for new rubber, $50 in brake parts and $150 for rotor machining (got burnt there) In total it's less than I've paid in the last 6 winters for heated storage. ;D ;D

£2495 when I bought Primmi, (roadworthy, restored, mot, taxed, KYB gas adjust shocks, etc) but then I've had about 5000 smiles over the last four years. Not spent loads on her for about 2 years, but after 4 years some of the panels are starting to need attention again. Stage 1 kit, Superlight 5.5 x12 wheels, new interior (featured in MITP report from 2006, or was it 2005.....) ah yes, the joys of 'I bet that would work......'

Elfie, my auto, cost me £325 back in 2001. There have been some restoration costs but I'm sure I'm still well under £2k on that one.
I think we paid about £380 for the Clubman estate, spent only a little but it needs a lot still to get roadworthy.
Evy the Clubman cost £500, and I've probably spent another hundred plus many man-hours so far. Not yet finished!
Skye cost £550, and has since had a couple of hundred spent and many more man-hours. However she is nearing completion!
Gigi cost £890. I must have thrown the best part of £500 in parts plus about 6 weeks in labour at her over two years. She sold for £780...
Eddie cost £1150, but I asset-stripped him of his 1275 motor and half-leather Cooper seats. After spending £50 to get through the MOT he sold for £1050!
Nemo cost £1650. He has not yet required any outlay, but my son's altercation with a lamppost on black ice is going to dent the bank balance, even if only for a door skin and a sprayjob - it's not a colour I can confidently do myself.
