we just moved into the new house, but we'll soon start the deisel swap back up. i didn't quite wanna say anything about the swap but the cat's out of the bag so here it go's. i have a 1.9 tdi deisel from a golf that my husband has been building me a subframe for so it can go into my pretty estate. i have an extra estate that we been using as a doner car. my husband is calling it the estiesel project. s737.photobucket.com/albums/xx19/chellwil/clubman/Estiesel%20project%20Tdi/

I thought it was a Auto Don't get rid of the Auto Engine he may just have to put it back ;D There are other Manufacturers Autos that could Be persuaded to fit Your lucky having a Clubman Square Front as you have more space to Play with Should Try a Metro K Series 1.4 Auto Rover Managed to fit a K series Manual into a round fronted Mini in 1995 as a design brief but had to widen the shell a touch as the inner wings on the round nose are at an angle however on a Clubman the inner wings are strait I think a Metro Subframe would probably fit strait into a Clubman fronted Mini? If it will as the Metro Manual and Auto Body shell were no different in size if the manual fits in the hole so should the Auto I wonder who will be the first to drop a Non A series Auto in their Mini Huggz Jodie

when ever i get back im gonna start building something for mine, d-honda auto but it sucks because i only got to drive my 998/auto before the pot joint bushings went out in the diff i kind of want to find another auto set up so that i can drive the car and build up the swap and whatnot because life sucks when your mini is broken down and you have to drive another vehicle to work

Ive often thought the Hondamatic engine/transmission from an early mk1 civic would be a nice transplant? Is that a Honda D? If so i know early civics are thin on the ground these days and too rare and pricey to break However how about a 1.3 Triumph Acclaim with Triomatic Transmission? Its the Same Engine/Transmission and when they appear they are cheap as chips
