every time i go to do something on Dennis something goes wrong. feel like giving up sometimes i've got his sliding windows ready for their new rubbers and do you think i can find the damn rubbers. i've had them missing for a while now but was positive they were in the metal storage cupboard in my garage, so after moving half a ton of crap to get to it i find they're not in there either i've spent all day emptying the garage and three sheds looking for them not in them either. i am very cold, very tired, very fed up my back is killing me and the frustration of it makes me want to don't know why i bother

Hi Rose, you can't give up on Dennis. My son went to do a simple suspension change on Denise. She is now an empty shell. Upon jacking her up he made a list of, sills, both sides, most of the floor, inner wings, a panels. Well to go on is pointless. She is now a complete ground up rebuild. Have a hot bath, a stiff drink, kick the cat (a neighbours cat is just as good if you don't have one of your own) and go find those rubbers. Good luck, Mark.

Hiya Rose I have to agree with Mark, you can't give up on Dennis. I think we all have days when we want to give up but when we've calmed down and had a break and a cuppa or something stronger we get up and carry on. Good luck and I hope you find the rubbers

Happens to all of us. Best to shut the garage door and walk away from the bloody thing for a few days, before you do something drastic.
If it's any consolation I spent most of last weekend looking for a special alternator bracket I put aside for use on the Moke. I still have not found it.

I spent 2 days looking for a locking wheel nut key that I used about 4 weeks ago. Nowhere to be seen so ended up having them removed at a garage. 3rd time in 18 months !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
