Hi, What sort of fuel mileage do you guys get from your autos? The best Otto does(68, 998) is mid 30s to the gallon, thats on mixed town country road driving and I believe the engine is in reasonably good tune. My 1100 manual mini used to get almost up to the magical 50mpg!! I know the auto is a bit of an energy drag especially when cold but are there any stars out there? are A+ motors better? Jockduck

I get about 30mpg average, or as low as 25mpg if I thrash it. But the Moke has a very bluff front end and the gearing is not ideal.
Cheers, Brett.

not really sure on the exact mpg but I know the autos do less that my Manuals. When I went to the Stafford show at the end of January I took Merri (auto) and Mandi (Manual), they are both 998cc and started from home with a full tank driving along together at the same speed .... when we got to the show Mandi still had half a tank left and Merri only had 1/4 of a tank left

i find that with our 68 mini auto that we get about 250-300kms a tank driving "nicely". Seems to be the equivalent to our 1275LS with the "hot" motor. The 998manuals and 1100 manual we have get 300-350kms and the little 850 is 400kms to a tank

Boris used to do around 40mpg in standard form However since fitting the DTM Exhaust and Free Flow K&N Air Filter thats gone down to 35mpg But we think its worth it for the Smile Factor He,s Definitely more entertaining to drive now

I've no idea on mpg for Peggie ('96 spi) but I do know it's much better than the 4.6 v8 Range Rover I had until last year. ;D

Now there's an ideal Joloke. You supply the dosh, some friends will do the conversion and I'm more than willing to fill the tank. )

I get about 29 -32max out of my auto, and when i "drive it hard" using manual selection, maybe as low as 25mpg.... but then its fun zooming away at the traffic lights leaving everything behind until they catch up when i run out of breath

38 mpg on a steady run at 60mph ish, 32 mpg around town. But then I always seem to have about 2 gallons left in the tank even when the fuel gauge needle is at the bottom of the red zone! So, the mpg may be ok-ish but I could increase my range by about 50 miles!
