Hiya Love the pics and your mini looks in great condition. Have you got any work to do it?

Pootle had a body resto in 2003 so that's in fairly good condition. A few rust spots are now appearing in the usual places - the worst of which is on the corner of the roof. Hope to get all this sorted soon. Engine overhauled and converted to unleaded earlier this year (before we bought her) but not the gearbox so that may need looking at soon. Interior is looking very tired and needs some work. I think that this is why the windows are tinted. Plenty to keep us busy for a while but nothing too major

I'd get the roof corners sorted, sooner, rather than later. It's a bad place to repair if its perforated. I know. Otherwise a nice looking mini, you must be chuffed with it.

The roof corner (just the one of them) is top of our list to get done. It's not perforated yet, just bubbling. The rest of the rust bubbles are around the scuttle and wings. Since the resto the previous owner had any spots of rust tackled as soon as she noticed them. We are very chuffed with her, especially as we only paid £600 for her. The previous owner was short of cash and needed a quick sale

Certainly is a bargain these days! Skye cost nearly that as a project!
Roof corners are a real Mini-killer. I had an Elf which had had the corners repaired, but not well enough. It had also rotted the top of the A-pillar. Because it was an Elf I replaced the whole roof - and that's definitely not a job for the faint-hearted! (Said Elf is now enjoying life in Sunny Florida...)
