When we changed the wheels on Thing today we had a look under the mat in the boot for the first time. Along with a bald spare tyre (which we have now replaced with one of the good ones we took off) we came across the original jack and wheel brace.
We are never going to use them on Thing so the question is what to do with them? - keep them as a momento - sell them on fleabay (are they worth anything?) - give them away (anyone want them?) - any other suggestions?
over to you...

I'd hang on to them as a memento. You might get something for them on EBay but keep them for the time being. I've never actually seen an original jack for a mini. I've welded a plate in the jacking holes in the sill to stop water getting in.

I've got original jacks for a couple of mine, but like Chris says I've never used them; I too have welded up the jacking holes on most of my cars.

My holes have welded over too. Not that I would use the jack even if they weren't. Looked on Ebay - there's a few on there but they're not attracting any bids. The only one that looked like it was going to sell had its original bag too and that was only up to 99p ;D
Think I'll keep it as a momento.
