Hi all As part of our full resto on the our 63 morris 850, we have been lucky in being able to clean up most original parts or obtaining really good repo parts. The one thing that we can't find is the original rubber floor mat as they never had carpet just the mat. I can't get any anywhere in australia or even find anyone who does a reproduction. Everyone just says "put in carpet". I've searched a few UK sites hoping someone makes something similar at least that I could put in as the original ones are a bit torn after 46 years of aussie abuse. Does anyone have any ideas or could point me in a direction to look? thanks! You can see what I mean in the photo below

You'll be lucky to find one. Someone was selling a mat from a 1959 Mk1 and it looked so fragile and falling to pieces. I don't think it would survive the post. Last I saw someone had bid £17.50 for it.

Thanks for replying clambod. Yes have noticed that they are like hens teeth. May have to take it out and try and get one made.

Yours looks 300% better condition than the one that was being sold. Get one made and put yours on EBay. you're bound to make a profit.

There was someone in Melbourne who tried to get these made about ten years ago. The quality was crap so the project was abandoned. I'm afraid a second-hand scrounge or carpet may be the only solutions.
