i gotta get the fan spacer for a 1275
but i found some 10x5 steel rims but not sure how long they are gonna take to get, because i want some billet engine bits also,
i sanded the metro clock housing smooth 2 nights ago, and last night i got it in mat black primer, so now i gonna sand it down with some 320 paper and put another coat of primer on it and keep working my way up with the paper, im gonna try and find some 500 or 600 and then if i need to, some 1000 paper to get it nice and smooth
plastic is a pain in the butt to paint i'll post some pictures of that tomorrow

yeah is a old gemini skratch master 2ch mixer, in the brown case i got a vestax 2ch mixer, and in the picture but its hard to tell is a cerwin vega L36 earthquake subwoofer
i use vestax pdx-a2 turntables with shure m44-7 needles, and the mixer im using right now is a stanton mixer with a focus fader, i want to get a new vestax mixer but its to hard because any extra quid i get, goes to the mini rebuild but i did just pick up Native Instruments TRAKTOR DUO program, im gonna try out the computer/turntable set up

But I have a half-decent rig with Numark decks & mixer, 4kw sound system, plus I'm using Epic VJ on a laptop with a 640Gb drive, 400Gb of mp3s on that! Epic's not quite Traktor quality but it's only £60 for the video version and it does all I need.

tonight i got the front springs mounted into the subframe, and mounted the new adjusted lower control arms, they are for the mini's christmas but i couldn't help myself, so i installed them
i made one mistake when installing them onto the car, i got the sides backwards, so the holes for the ball joints wouldn't line up right, so i took them half way apart and switched sides and so now they are good, i havn't painted them yet, they are still in their gold color but i need to get the car on the ground with the engine in it to check it over and get the wheels pointing straight before i go about painting them
and i went and picked up some bolts for the fan and fan spacer this afternoon on the way home from work, sucky part is, i got the wrong size but they will hold the fan on but not enuff room to install lock washer, so im gonna go back tomorrow and get some 1/4in longer can't have the fan come off and jack up my 3core radiator, not a big deal, ez to get right
i also pulled the blanking plug off the head for the heater hole and got it cleaned up, but i don't have any more rtv sealant, and when i went the other day to pick up more they were out, and told me to go check another place, and i didn't get time so my billet heater adapter is waiting to be installed now

i took this with my phone, i need to get a new sd card for my nikon but the subframe is almost done some specs on the subframe its been fully welded at every seam,( no spot welds anymore) and its been bed lined and painted in high heat paint, hd tie rods, new ball joints, adjustable lca's with poly bushings, knuckel joints, coil conversion kit, hi-lo's, solid subframe mounts ..... i just need to order ball joint boots and i'll be able to install the engine

some specs on the subframe its been fully welded at every seam,( no spot welds anymore) Sounds like good thinking, though last year I got "MOT:Advisory - welding to front subframe". It wasn't even structural, just the protection plate under the bottom arm bushes. Not a car I was keeping anyway, but the subby was better than the one it had replaced, where the tie rod mount was cracked in three places!

i was looking on mini sport at subframe parts and they have an auto subframe for like 85gbp with vat or something crazy like that www.minisport.com/mini-spare-parts/info_KGB10024.htmlmakes me want to pick up a extra one for i don't know reason, lol not right now tho i didn't get to the bolt place in time today, so im gonna see if i can find a few old 5/16 bolts for my rear submounts so i can go and get some new bolts on monday, i think i need about 8 or so pretty much running out of work i can do on this subframe i need to bust out my carharts and get the firewall done so i can install it all

i got the rear subframe solid mounts on the done, i found the bolts, had to clean them up, they have oil and dirt so i wired bush and sanded them with some 100 paper, good and clean now
and i took my hif carb apart to clean and put the new needle into it i think the new needle is a bdl or something like that
i took the bottom of the float bowl off and it was super dirty, it had sometime of lead fuel stuff i guess or rust, it was a dark red color and other stuff was in their, the carb didn't have a filter before when the engine was in the metro i got a new filter but need to get some black fuel line, right now i have red but its not gonna work with the color of my engine

monday im trying to finally sand blast the firewall on the car but as of 1am, outside is super foggy, so i hop the fog clears up by 9-10am or else its gonna make for a super cold day im gonna try and get this done anyways
my goal is to sand blast it and prime it in some of the matt black rust paint

well i finally got around to the firewall, i forgot to take a picture of it after i took it down to raw metal it took about 3hrs to blast all of the firewall and then i put some paint on it really fast to get it covered back up i started to work on it this morning about 730am i ran the paint alittle bit, so ones it dryes i need to ruff the paint to get it ready to be bed lined and then i'll re-paint it again with some high heat paint like i did with the subframe the paint is wet in this picture, thats why it looks all gloss
