i haven't done anything to Dennis in the last few days mainly because my daily transport has decided to spring both an oil and water leak at the same time i s'pose i shouldn't moan about the old bus it is seventeen years old and hasn't given me too much bother and since i've owned it ( about four years ) it's gone through the mot with just the odd daft thing like a blown bulb or perished wiper blade, i love the old bus really

My 31st Wedding Anniversary was Dec 30th, and my Missus purchased some bling for Bertie.
Chrome windshield wipers, squirter's,some vent rings and knobs for the dash, and some pretty interior trim for the doors, stainless with three holes in the door handles, window cranks, etc.
I'll try to get a picture in soon.

I have brushed the snow off Molly and she has now moved into the garage as it's too cold for her outside now. I thought better to be safe than sorry.

my clubman Henry is now back in operation! not been used for last 3 months due to cold, damp etc. So I've been tinkering - re-painting the rad, brackets, rocker cover, heater hose blank thingy, loads of bits.... I work for a stainless steel company so have a bit of a thing about stainless. So i ended up changing loads of fasteners for stainless ones. only problem is - broke a thermostat stud in the block. socket extractors - no use. drilled and used screw in extractor - no use. ended up very carefully drilling, pulling all the bits out and re-tapping the thread.... just got it back together this afto. Moral of my story - i'll try not to mess about with things that arn't broke!!! ;D ;D ;D

I had some new doorcards fitted, from Ashley James Interiors. They dont seem to have a website but do advertise in Mini magazine. The service was spot on, they even sorted out my bootkit for free which I had bought on ebay but turned out it was one of theirs. I will try and get some pics of the cards and post them up. The only problem now is that my seats now look a bit shabby and could do with some TLC (or money). I ordered the cards before Christmas and only decided I would like a full width pocket when I got there to collect them, that was no extra cost and they did it there and then. They all seem to drive minis and seem like really nice guys. Thoroughly recommended .

I have fitted a new vacuum pipe, new spark plugs and leads and a new air filter. I will be doing my new halogen headlights tomorrow Clambod also came over to do my timing but we hit a slight problem we can't turn the dizzy enough so Molly is running a bit advanced at the moment but it will hopefully be sorted tomorrow.

I thought about brushing all the snow off, then reconsidered as I wouldn't drive him on these nasty iced and salted streets anyway, so I left it alone.

Thanks Jodie, I actually have sourced another clubman rolling shell that I am going to paint that same colour green (decided I liked it better too in the end) and fit my spare auto motor. We weren't lucky enough to get automatic clubmans over here, so I am going to make one!
